Little Albert was born December 21, 1939 in Antwerp in Belgium and died October 3, 1942 at Auschwitz. There was only a fragment of a photograph remaining of Albert with much of his head missing. I couldn’t leave him behind, however, so I drew just his precious face. Can you tell if his little life is just emerging from the mist or receding? Perhaps it’s both.
